The agreement

These terms cover registration for CoderJam events, run by Finternet Ltd (United Kingdom). By registering you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your child. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Registration and payment

• Registering reserves a place; no payment is taken on the website. We'll email you payment details, and the place is confirmed once payment is received.
• The price is $99 per student per event date.
• Places are limited per date and offered in the order registrations are received.

Refunds and changes

• Full refund up to 7 days before your event date.
• After that, we'll do our best to move your registration to another date instead — email hello@coderjam.org.
• If we have to cancel or reschedule an event, you choose between a full refund and a place on another date.

What you're responsible for

• Confirming your child is aged 13–18 on the event date.
• A computer, a modern browser, and a stable internet connection.
• Your child needs a free ChatGPT account. We'll email setup instructions before the day.

The event

• Events run live, online, 09:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 16:00 Bangkok time (GMT+7), with both facilitators present throughout.
• All written interaction between students is moderated by a facilitator before it appears.
• We may remove a student who is deliberately disruptive or unkind; if that happens we'll call you first, and refunds are at our reasonable discretion.

Published games

• Finished games are published on CoderJam under a display name only, as covered in the consent you give at registration and in our privacy policy.
• The student keeps ownership of their game. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it on the showcase; email hello@coderjam.org any time to have it taken down.
• Ratings and prizes are decided by showcase votes; facilitators may exclude games or votes that break the rules (offensive content, vote manipulation).

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise, our total liability for an event is limited to the amount you paid for it.
